How to Write a Paragraph 2019

PARAGRAPH WRITING( अनुच्छेद लेखन )

अनुच्छेद एउटा केन्द्रीय विचारमा केन्द्रित रही तयार गरिन्छ । केन्द्रीय विचारलाई अन्य समर्थन विवरणले पुष्टि गरेका हुन्छन ।  केन्द्रीय विचारलाई अनुच्छेदको उचित टाउँमा राख्नुपर्छ । सामान्यत ः केन्द्रीय विचार (मुख्य विचार वा मुख्य विषय) लाई अनुच्छेदको सुरुमा राख्नु बढी उपयुक्त देखिन्छ । केन्द्रीय विचार भएको वाक्यलाई बिषय बस्तु भनिन्छ । 

Classification of Paragraphs

सामान्यतः अनुच्छेदलाई वर्णनात्मक, कथा, परावर्तनशील र तर्कसंगतरप्रदर्शनी गरी चार प्रकारले विभाजन गर्न सकिन्छ ।

• वर्णनात्मक अनुच्छेदस् वर्णनात्मक अनुच्छेदले कुनै पनि ठाउँ, वस्तु जस्तै, इत्यादिको बारेमा तथ्यपूर्ण जानकारी दिन्छ ।
• कथा अनुच्छेदस् कुनै ऐतिहासिक घटना, इत्यादिको बारेमा घटनालाई वर्णन गरी लेखिने  अनुच्छेदलाई कथा अनुच्छेद भनिन्छ ।
• परावर्तक अनुच्छेद स् कुनै पनि भावात्मक प्रकृतिको विषयहरु जस्तैः बानी, राजनीति, अनुशासन इत्यादिको बारेमा लेखकको विचार व्यक्त गरी लेखिने  अनुच्छेदलाई  परावर्तक अनुच्छेद भनिन्छ ।
• तर्कसंगतरप्रदर्शनी अनुच्छेद स् कुनै पनि भनाईलाई वर्णन गर्ने अनुच्छेदलाई  तर्कसंगतरप्रदर्शनी अनुच्छेद भनिन्छ ।

Some Hints to Prepare a paragraph :

१. अनुच्छेदको शीर्षकलाई केही ठूलो  अक्षरहरुमा पन्नाको बीचमा माथि राख्ने ।

२. बिषय बस्तुलाई सामान्यतः अनुच्छेदको सुरुमा राख्ने । –तर बीच र अन्त्यमा पनि राख्न सकिन्छ ।)

३. केन्द्रीय विचारपछि सम्बन्धित कुराहरुलाई समर्थन विवरणको रुपमा राख्ने ।

४. अनुच्छेदलाई धेरै लामो वा अति छोटो नबनाउने ।

५. एउटै कुरालाई दोहोर्याएर नलेख्ने ।

६. एकभन्दा बढी केन्द्रीय विचार (मुख्य कुराहरु) भए अनुच्छेद छुट्याउने ।

1.An accident I Witnessed

A bus to pokhara  from Kathmandu---54 passangers---rainy day---at 6a.m.---collide with a truck---damage to both vehicles---10 deaths---15 injured---rest unharmed---pool of blood.

         Last week, I went to pokhara to meet my relatives. Early in the morning, I started my journey from Kathmandu. My bus left on time. While we were travelling, it was raining  heavily. As we reached Naubise, our bus driver accidentally jammed on the brakes to stop. I watched through the window and saw that there was a long queue of vehicles. As we got off the bus, we were informed that two vehicles collided with each other.

            As I hearedit, I was extremely excited to know what really happened. I rushed to the spot where a bus and a truck collided with each other. I knew that the bus was going to pokhara carrying 54 passengers . It met with the accident at 6 am.; some unharmed passenger told me . both of the vehicles were badely damaged as they fell 70 feet below the road. Unfortunately nine of the passangersand the driver of the truck died on the spot. Fifteen of them were badely injured. They were immediately taken to hospitals. Fortunately, rest of the passangers were unharmed. We saw that there was a pool of blood which made my eyes water. We were blocked there for an hour and then moved ahead to our destination.

2. the rising Nepal

Carry news and views, give entertainment, public awareness, politics, economics, education and knowledge, people can say to government and direct it, should not be controlled by political parties, no misleading and twisted news.

The rising Nepal is the oldest English newspaper in our country. It is normally controlled by the government. It is daily published. It carries news and views from all the sectors and make them known to the people. It also provides entertainment. It play a vital role in making people aware of politics, economics, education, etc. it speads knowledge of the above-mentioned sectors quickly because thereare news and articles on them and sectors as well.

It also publishes public views through various kinds of articles. People can express their opinions, ideas and thoughts through it. The government is directed by the voices and opinions of the people. People can draw the attention of the government for the betterment of the country and the countrymen. Although it is controlled by the government, a particular political party should not try to influence it. It should be free. It should not be controlled by the political parties or a particular ideology. Unfortunately is also publishes misleading news and twisted views. By the result, people do not believe the news published in it. This situation should be improved.

3. the rivers in Nepal

Many rivers, mechi, koshi, bagmati, narayani, gandaki, rapti, mahakali, very useful, sometimes destructive too.

Nepal is rich in water resources. There are many rivers in Nepal. The main rivers are mechi, koshi, Bagmati, Narayani, Gandaki, Rapti, Mahakali, etc. each big river has several tributaries. The biggest river in Nepal is koshi, the deepest is narayani and the longest is karnali. Most of the rivers in Nepal rise from mountains as Nepal is a mountainous country.

Rivers are very useful in our country. We can irrigate our farms and run many hydroelectricity projects by using river water. If we utilize the complete water power to produce electricity, our country can speed up its pace of development. Similarly, the rivers provides us with water to drink, wash clothes, etc. to some extend, the power of the rivers can be used for transportation. Furthermore, the rivers can be used for entertainment such as rafting, boating, etc. and we can develop our tourist trade by utilizing rivers. The rivers have been made regional boundaries for political and administrative purposes. Thus the rivers in Nepal arehighly advantageous. During rainy seasons, these rivers get over-flooded, and destroy the fields and buildings though. Unfortunately some people are killed in the flood.

4. the uses of natural resources in the development of a country

Very important…fast development….provide raw materials….increase exports….reduce imports….promote tourism….earn foreign currency…solve unemployment problem

Natural resources significantly contribute to the development of a country. If a country is rich in natural resources, it certainly accelerates the pace of development. Natural resources such as forest, water resources, mines, mountains, natural gases, natural oil, etc.  are very important. These resources certainly uplift the economic status of a country mainly in two waysM firstly, they provides the industries with the raw materials required; and secondly, they can increases exports which promote foreign currency income. If a country owns more raw materials and productions than required, they can be sold to foreign countries. Similarly natural resources reduce the imports. If a country owns a lot of productions of multiple sorts of goods, it does not need to imports them from other countries. Similarly, tourism can be promoted if a country is rich in natural resources. If a country owns adequate natural resources, industrialization gets  promoted rapidly; and ultimately the economic status of the people gets uplifted. Indirectly, natural resources can reduce the problem of unemployment. Industries require multiple types of manpowers. Therefore, they provides many job opportunities to the people who are unemployed. Thus natural resources crucially contribute to the development of a nation by providing raw materials, increasing exporting, reducing imports, promoting tourism, earning foreign currency and lessening the problem of unemployment.  

Some Example of paragraphs : Free/Unguided Paragraphs

1.     Domestic Animals

The animals such as cows, goats, horses, buffaloes, etc. are domestic animals. They are tamed by human beings. Domestic animals are used to living at our houses. We like them very much because they are lovable, innocent and ignorant. They obey our orders if they are properly trained.

Domestic animals are kept for various purposes because they are very useful to us. They help us in many ways such as by giving milk, manure, etc. they can be used as the means of transport, too. Horses, mules, sheep, and so on carry our goods from one place to another. Some of the useful animals are cows, buffaloes, goats, sheep, mules, dogs, rabbits and so on. Some animals are kept as pets which are not very useful. They are mainly cats, rabbits, dogs, deer, etc.

The useful domestic animals provides us with various types of services. The cows, buffaloes, sheep, goats provides us milk, meat, manure and transportation. The dog guards our residence. It is very faithful, too. The horses are mainly used as the means of transport. Some rich people in the plain regious keep elephants too.  They are also useful for us. Although the domestic animals are very useful, they can be dangerous if they are not properly trained.

2.     Importance of agriculture in Nepal

Nepal is an agro-based country. Most of the people of Nepal depend on agriculture. Agriculture provides us with daily needs such as crops, vegetables, fruits, etc. Most of the cottage  industries in Nepal are also based on agriculture because it supply them with raw materials. Similarly, modern industries are supplied with raw materials that belongs to agriculture. We can cut down imports and increase exports. If we can produce adequate agricultural products. From the export of agricultural products, we can earn foreign currency which can be used to boost up economic status of the country. Furthermore, the majority of the people are employed in the sector of agriculture. In order to develop the country rapidly, the government should give high priority on agricultural development.

3.     My plans after examination

After the completion of my SEE examination, I plan to visit some places, learn computer application and English language. I am intending to visit pokhara, one of the beauty spots of the country. I can get entertainment and knowledge by visiting various places. It is also beneficial for our health. For a few months, I will learn computer application and English language. Nowadays computer knowledge is very important because computer are widely used in all the fields. Similarly, English is an international language. We should have good knowledge and skill of it.i am thinking of preparing an entrance examination. I am strongly willing to study science because I want to be a doctor in future. That's why I will join a science college. I realize that hard labour and strong determination are basically required to study science and to be a doctor as well.

4.     My Aim in Life

It is said that education is the most important factor for the upliftment of the society, country and the whole human civilization as well. Awareness of the people can be fastered through education. In order to provide education to the people. I want to be  teacher in my life. After I pass graduation , I went to go to a remote place being a secondary level teacher. I will try to teach most of the children of the place. If I find any children not going to school, I will try to find the cause of this situation. I will try to convience their parents to send them to school.

Furthermore, I will run many adult literacy classes for the illiterate adults. I hope they will be co-operative with me. I will try to uplift their consciousness. I do hope that they will be literate and conscious after some years. If they are conscious, they can understand what is right and what is wrong. I will try to provide them health education, too. I have seen illiterate people are very careless about their health. I will try to convince them not to follow bad and dead traditions because they are the hindrances that stop the human civilization from getting uplifted. Because of the aforementioned reasons, I want to be a teacher in my life.

5.     Importance of Education

Education is the most important factor for the development of human civilization. Education provides the nation with the manpowers, promotes national unity and uplifts consciousness of the people.

A country needs different kinds of manpowers such as doctors, engineers, teachers, administrative officials, economists, judges and other technical hands. Education provides the nation with those educated hands. The well skilled hands are the milestones for the development of a country.

If people are educated, they can understand their duties and rights. In order to uplifts human society, each should be capable to understand others. If people can understand each other, they will be united. Thus education can promote national unity. In order to uplift the degree of conscious of the society, education play prime role. It makes all the people conscious. They will not follow old dead and evil traditions. Educated people can reform the society. They can understand what is right and what is wrong. They can save good traditions.

The peak and dignity of science and technology are the results of education. Now we can travel around the world in twenty-four hours. In fact, a man without being educated will not be a complete man.

6.     My Holidays

Holidays are entertaining for me. During my coming holidays, I have planned to visit pokhara. I am intending to visit most of the famous places there. I have heard and read about them but I have not got an opportunity to visit them yet.i am going there with my parents. I will stay there for a week. I will enjoy watching beauties and wonders of pokhara. Some of the places are mahendra gupta, begnas tal, phewa tal, davis falls, mahadev gupta, chamere gupha, the seti river and others. I will go boating on phewa tal and begnas tal. It will be really enjoyable for me. Furthermore, I will watch nuchhapurchhre mountain and enjoy it. I am intending to take a lot of photographs. I am thinking of getting adequate information. I will interview the people whome I meet during my visit; especially I am willing to achieve more information about mahendra cave,davis falls and tall barahi temple which is situated in phewa lake. I hope that visiting pokhara will be very fruitful and knowledgeous for me.
